Privacy Policy

This policy explains the difference between files processed locally in a DocPixel tool and ordinary information created when a visitor opens a website or contacts support.

Files selected in tools

DocPixel's standard image, PDF and ZIP workflows are designed to read selected files in browser memory. The result is created locally and made available through a visible download action. DocPixel does not intentionally send those selected files to its server for conversion, does not create a user file library and does not provide cloud storage.

Temporary browser objects may remain in memory while the page is open. They are normally released when a result is replaced, a tool is reset or the page is closed. Browser crashes, extensions or device-level backups are outside DocPixel's control, so visitors should not use a shared device for confidential work without understanding that device's settings.

Background Remover resources

The Background Remover loads model and runtime files from DocPixel's own domain when the tool is started. The selected image is then processed by the browser. Model files are website resources; they are separate from the visitor's image. Performance and memory use vary by device.

Optional public-page translation

When a visitor chooses a language, the site opens the current public URL through Google Translate. That service may receive the public page URL and ordinary connection information under its own policies. Local files selected in DocPixel tools are not added to the translation link. A visitor who does not want to use that service can continue using the original English page.

Server and security logs

The hosting provider may create standard access, error and security logs. These can include IP address, date and time, requested path, response status, browser information, referring page and indicators used to detect abuse. Logs may be retained according to the hosting provider's operational and security settings.

Email and support messages

Information voluntarily sent to the support address may be retained to answer a question, investigate an error, handle a legal request or document a correction. Do not email confidential documents or credentials. The contact page explains how to create a safer non-sensitive sample.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

Advertising and analytics are disabled in the current review package. DocPixel does not intentionally set optional advertising or analytics cookies in this version. Essential server or security mechanisms provided by the hosting environment may still operate. If optional advertising or analytics is enabled later, the cookie notice and this policy must be reviewed, and consent controls will be added where required.

External links

Guides and policy pages may link to another public service or open an email application. External sites apply their own privacy terms. DocPixel is not responsible for their content or data handling.

Retention, rights and requests

Because selected conversion files are not intentionally uploaded, DocPixel normally has no server copy of those files to retrieve or delete. Depending on location, a visitor may have rights concerning personal information contained in support messages or server records. Requests should identify the relevant message or approximate visit date without sending additional sensitive information.

Policy changes
